Yoga In Rexburg...

Yoga offerings in Rexburg are growing now that I'm teaching in the Kundalini tradition.

The first yoga classes began in about 1998 at the Sports and Fitness Center. Since taking over yoga classes there, Leslie North and Shelly Spratling have been teaching in various venues and now team teach the same Tuesday and Thursday morning class that started in 1998.
You will find them at Ballet Arts on 5th West. This morning class is a moderate Hatha style and sometimes brings in flavors of Power Yoga, Tai Chi, Kundalini, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa.
Their number one priority is safety and gentle use of the body's joints. Some students have had surgeries, accidents, chronic illnesses and pain, pregnancies and the long time students are learning to live in a body that is 10 years older than when they first started.
They also have had students training for running and bike races, professional dancers, and equestrians. A wide variety of needs requires a wide variety of teaching approaches and choices.
Leslie and Shelly have been endorsed by several area medical professionals for teaching safely, moderately and in support of other medical therapies for the long term health and wellness of students.
Beginners are welcome to join at any time. The drop in fee is $8 and if you want to pay monthly, the fee is $40.
